Welcome to the 4th Emerging Space Industry Leaders Workshop (ESIL-04) web page.  ESIL-04 will be held on June 1-2, 2013 in conjunction with the 2013 Next Generation Suborbital Researchers Conference (NSRC 2013) in Broomfield, CO.

 

Below is information about the workshop which will be updated as details become available.

 

Objectives:

  • Network - meet other emerging leaders from across the space industry
  • Learn - gain insight into the context of commercial space, strategy formulation, and Game Theory
  • Impact - utilize lessons and perspectives gained to contribute to the space industry

 

Overview:

ESIL is a workshop series supported by the FAA Center of Excellence for Commercial Space Transportation and coordinated by the University of Colorado at Boulder.  The intent of the workshop series is to bring together emerging industry leaders, foster collaboration, and provide tools to help shape the space industry of the future.  This is accomplished through lectures from industry, government, and academia as well as group activities.  These activities include both educational and social development.

 

Schedule:

  • (optional) June 1st: 11 AM Tour of SNC Space Systems (available to U.S. Citizens with documentation only) 
  • June 1st: 1 PM - 5 PM + working dinner [note this day of the workshop will be hosted by Sierra Nevada Corporation Space Systems in near-by Louisville]
  • June 2nd: 9 AM - 5 PM
    • Detailed schedule coming soon as speakers/activities are finalized
    • Attendance is expected for the entirety of the workshop
