Welcome to the 3rd Emerging Space Industry Leaders Workshop (ESIL-03) web page.  ESIL-03 was held on November 7-8, 2012 in conjunction with the SEDS SpaceVision Conference in Buffalo, NY at the Buffalo Convention Center.

 

Below is information about and results from the workshop.

 

Objectives:

  • Network - meet other emerging leaders from across the space industry
  • Learn - gain insight into the context of commercial space, strategy formulation, and Game Theory
  • Impact - utilize lessons and perspectives gained to contribute to the space industry

 

Overview:

ESIL is a workshop series supported by the FAA Center of Excellence for Commercial Space Transportation and coordinated by the University of Colorado at Boulder.  The intent of the workshop series is to bring together emerging industry leaders, foster collaboration, and provide tools to help shape the space industry of the future.  This is accomplished through lectures from industry, government, and academia as well as group activities.  These activities include both educational and social development.

 

Schedule:

  • November 7th: 9 AM - 5 PM + working dinner
  • November 8th: 9 AM - 12 PM
    • Detailed schedule coming soon as speakers/activities are finalized
    • Attendance is expected for the entirety of the workshop
