Armadillo Aerospace competes with their LOx-Alcohol Quad vehicle named "Pixel" in, but does not win, the 2006 competition during the X PRIZE Cup event in Las Cruces, NM.
AA is approached by multiple space agencies and prime aerospace contractors to use their Quad vehicles for technology development work.
AA receives an SBIR Phase 1 award from Air Force Research Lab.
