This meeting will feature presentations by Robert Schultz, CH4 President, and Chuck Herring of DigitalGlobe. 2009 Sept 15 at 7:30pm: There will be a general meeting in conjunction with the AIAA Space 2009 Conference in Pasadena, CA. This meeting will feature a presentation by Bob Hopkins about the Space Economy symposium he organized that was held on March 13 in Washington DC. 2009 Sept 18: We are in the initial stages of planning our second NewSpace Tour to Mojave Air and Space Port. This will be an all-day, pay-to-go tour. Details are now being nailed down and will be released as soon as possible. 2009 Oct 12-16: There will be a general meeting in conjunction with the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Daejoon, South Korea. Stay tuned for details about this meeting. 2009 Oct 20: There will be a tour of the White Sands Test Facility Payload Integration labs and test facilities in Las Cruces, NM. This tour is set up by Dr. Patricia Hynes, Director of the ISPCS and CSG is a co-sponsor. 2009 Oct 21-22: There will also be a general meeting in conjunction with the International Symposium on Personal and Commercial Spaceflight (ISPCS) in Las Cruces, NM. Stay tuned for details about this meeting, too. We also have other activities in the planning stages, and you'll hear about them in the coming weeks and months. ===== CONCLUSION ===== As always, I hope to continue to send out email blasts periodically with more information for you. In the next email blast, I plan to see if anybody out there would be interested in doing some basic market research in support of a larger study project I'm thinking of, but I need to iron out some details before I put out a specific request.
