FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions about Twitter

  1. What is twitter?

Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?  Bloggers can use it as a mini-blogging tool. Developers can use the API to make Twitter tools of their own. Possibilities are endless! Instead of rewriting the entire Twitter FAQ, you can just read it for yourself!

  2. Once I join twitter, who should I follow?

You can follow anybody you like, but below is a list of the twitter userids for folks associated with the commercial space movement or was/is involved with activities pertaining to commercial space. Here are the names of people, their twitter IDs, and their affiliations. Where possible, we'll ask folks to add their names, twitter userids, and links to their on-line biographies.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions about Tweme

  1. What is tweme?

Go to the tweme help page to get all the official answers to your questions. Unofficially, twemes are like "themes" of twitters. Twemes are defined as being preceded by the pound sign ("#"). Every twitter that has given tweme will be posted on its own web page with a unique URL. For example, a twitter with the tweme #ABC would be posted on a web page with URL "www.tweme.com/ABC".

  2. Does Space Commerce have a tweme?

Yes! I've selected "#newspace" as the tweme, so please include "#newspace" in relevant tweets so they get collected and displayed on "www.tweme.com/#newspace".

  3. I'm twittering with the "#newspace" tweme, but it's not showing up on the tweme web page. What's happening?

If your tweets are protected, then they won't be posted to the tweme web page. If you want to unprotect your tweets, then your tweets will begin showing up.
